Solomon Projects is the premier venue in Atlanta for the presentation and promotion of innovative contemporary art. Since its inception in 1994, Solomon Projects has become an essential part of the Atlanta community and is recognized throughout the Southeast as a gallery committed to thought provoking art in new media by young and established artists. Solomon Projects establishes primary relationships with its artists and promotes their work nationally - artist Robin Bernat's video installation, effortless, was selected for the 2000 Whitney Biennial after first premiering at Solomon Projects in November 1998.

In November 2001, Solomon Projects reopened after completing an extensive renovation, expanding the gallery space to allow for larger scale works and video installations. The main exhibition space - a pure white cube accentuated by the natural light of a skylight - encourages experimentation. Exhibitions run for four to five weeks and the gallery maintains a complete inventory of work available for acquisition.

Gallery artists are: Radcliffe Bailey, Karen Rich Beall, Janet Biggs, Susan Cofer, Claire Corey, Wendy Given, Lynda Grimm, Sarah Hobbs, Ridley Howard, E.K. Huckaby, David Humphrey, Jerald Ieans, Scott Ingram, Carter Kustera, Drew Lowenstein, Muntadas, Joseph Peragine, Kathryn Refi, John Daniel Walsh, Joe Walters, Leslie Wayne, Douglas Weathersby and Wendy White.

Solomon Projects's web site, www.solomonprojects.com, was developed to provide access to a growing national and international audience facilitating a discourse between the gallery and the public. The site is continually updated providing information on gallery artists and past, present and upcoming exhibitions.
