Virtual Home Office superimposes the artist's photographs of Environmental
Services's Boston headquarters on the gallery's office walls through
the application of 1000+ ink jet printouts. The illusion is completed
through the addition of personal objects. Over the "wallpaper"
of the installation Douglas's photography is displayed and his videos
and "infomercials" are viewable on monitors. Additionally,
Douglas performs office hours to promote Evironmental Services. |
